Original Ed Warren Painting

Long before they were famed ghost hunters investigating The Amityville Horror and featured in films like The Conjuring, Ed and Lorraine Warren had a much different hobby: painting. Ed in particular became known for his “barn door” art, painting tranquil winter scenes on stained pine, perfect for adorning the wood grain walls of any home in the late 60s. These paintings are now quite rare.

This particular piece, titled “Winter Farm Homestead”, has a much more somber tone than many of his other original works, but that isn’t the only thing that sets it apart: this Ed Warren painting appears to be haunted.
