Suicide Curse

Buried inside the iron gates of a rural cemetery, this wooden box was accidentally discovered by a curious geocacher. Contained inside where the required materials for one of the worst homespun curses that can be cast on a person, one intended to make the victim, shown in the photograph, commit suicide.

Fortunately for the unlucky target, this particular work was discovered and interrupted, which traditionally means very back luck – often a total reversal of the curse – for whoever made it.

This piece of nasty root work is a glimpse into the secret rituals occurring in our own backyards each and every day.
