The Newkirks Talk Museum Ethics, Mothman, and Their Supernatural Love Story on Euphomet

Tune in to the latest two episodes of the Euphomet podcast to hear museum founders Dana & Greg Newkirk discuss their lives curating the world’s only mobile museum of the unexplained, how Mothman has become a symbol of their ongoing quest to engage the strange, and the supernatural love-story that brought the two of them together despite international borders.

In the first episode, “Idol of Nightmares”, host Jim Perry delves into the duos work with haunted artifacts, the ethics involved in running a paranormal museum, and why their work is so important. It even involves an on-the-fly interview with “Billy”, the idol in question, much to Perry’s amazement.

Episode two follows the Newkirks on an important trip to Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where the lifelong paranormal investigators take Jim on a hunt for The Mothman, a misunderstood entity that’s become a symbol of forward momentum for Greg & Dana. Just a heads up: this episode will make you cry, so bring the tissues.

EPISODE 8: IDOL OF NIGHTMARES

On this edition – haunted, cursed, possessed artifacts and the people who own them and their mission to present a deeper understanding of these most feared objects.

Host Jim Perry follows Greg and Dana Newkirk, creators of The Traveling Museum of the Paranormal and the Occult and gets to know what it’s like to live with the haunted, and growing to love it.

Rather than hoard their incredible collection of haunted items behind a dusty glass case, paranormal investigators Greg Newkirk and Dana Matthews established The Traveling Museum of the Paranormal & Occult, a roving display of the most fascinating artifacts collected during their supernatural adventures.

Since 2014, Greg and Dana’s traveling museum of the weird has been fascinating, educating, and terrifying guests at some of the country’s most popular conventions and private events like Strange Escapes, ScareFest, and Ghost Adventures‘ Nick Groff’s cross-country tour.

By freely sharing the only collection of independently-studied haunted objects in the world, the Traveling Museum of the Paranormal and the Occult provides unprecedented access to evidence of the supernatural, removing items of paranormal notoriety from private collectors and placing them directly into the hands of those curious about the wide world of the strange and the unexplained.
